"Drama" is definitely one word to describe the NFC East based on the last few seasons; from Robert Griffin III's knee injury and Philadelphia's 2011 "Dream Team" to everything about the Dallas Cowboys, this division is a walking reality TV series.
As the NFL season is almost upon us, we should take into consideration that 10 teams in the NFL have quarterbacks that will be starting this week with less then two years of experience, and five of them are rookies. Is this a youth movement or are these teams so desperate for a franchise quarterback that they will "reach" in the draft to get that "franchise" player?
Eli Manning has always been compared to his older brother Peyton Manning. Both are quarterbacks, both have led their teams to Super Bowl wins, and now both have hosted ‘Saturday Night Live.’ While the two no doubt have an undying brotherly bond going on — knowing how big brothers are — one can understand if Eli has built up some underlying resentments towards Peyton.
Now that the dust has settled on Eli Manning’s second Super Bowl victory — and second Super Bowl MVP title — it’s time to compare the legacy of this New York Giants quarterback with that of his older brother, 11-time Pro Bowler and four-time regular season MVP, Peyton Manning.
It didn’t even take until the Monday after Super Bowl XLVI for a lot of people to change their minds about the New York Giants and the legacy of the New England Patriots. It seems like only yesterday that the Giants team suffered the wrath of fans because of its 7-7 win/loss record, but in a drastic change of heart, the team is being praised by just about everyone.
