As if we need another reason to go to Target!

Target's car seat trade-in event is back beginning on Monday, April 22nd. The event will continue through Saturday, May 4th.

The store will accept and recycle all types of car seats, including the following:

  • infant seats
  • convertible seats
  • car seat bases
  • harness car seats
  • booster car seats
  • expired car seats
  • damaged car seats

Those that trade in any of the car seats listed about will receive a coupon, giving them twenty percent off "a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby home gear" like high chairs, swings, rockers, etc.

You can use the coupon online and in-store and materials from the car seats you trade in will be recycled. Therefore, you are trading up while doing some good!

Target started the trade-in program back in 2016 and since then, the company has recycled half a million car seats and growing!
