Duluth’s Target Store Bringing Back Car Seat Trade-In Program In April
Have a car seat you want to get rid of or in the market for a new one? Target's big car seat trade-in event is officially back this April.
The big car seat trade-in event is scheduled to kick off on Monday, April 5th. It will continue through Saturday, April 17th. All you have to do to take part is bring in your unwanted car seat and drop it off at the designated box near Guest Services.
Target puts on their car seat trade-in event each year and this year is no different, despite the circumstances surrounding the pandemic. Once you drop off your old car seat, you will receive a coupon for twenty-percent off a new car seat. This coupon can also be extended to car seat bases, travel systems, strollers and certain baby home gear, like swings and high chairs.
It should also be noted that if you trade in two car seats, you receive two coupons. These coupons can be used through May 1st of this year.

New this year is the fact that you must be enrolled in Target Circle in order to get your coupon. Target Circle is the company's free rewards system. You sign up using your phone number.
As always, there will be COVID-19 protocols in place. Guests are encouraged to social distance and must wear a mask, even if they have been fully vaccinated. There is also plexiglass shields at check-out lanes and a self-checkout option for limited contact.
Target's program has been around since 2016 and is all about recycling these car seats and having a more positive impact on the environment. All car seats and corresponding parts will be recycled.
