In November the Minnesota Twins hired Torii Hunter, LaTroy Hawkins and Michael Cuddyer to be special advisors to the team.  Now it appears that two of those former players will contribute even more for the 2017 season.

Twinsbaseball.com is reporting that Hunter and Hawkins will also broadcast select games on FSN.  Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven will remain the club's primary analyst alongside play-by-play broadcaster Dick Bremer, but Hunter and Hawkins will rotate into the analyst role along with fellow former Twins Jack Morris and Roy Smalley.

As the Twins look to rebound from a historically bad 2016 season, I think they are doing the right thing by bringing back former players to not only help in the clubhouse, but to also help win back the trust of the fans.
