The Minnesota Twins placed tickets on sale Monday for their nine Grapefruit League home games at Hammond Stadium, as part of the club’s revised 2022 Spring Training schedule.

Twins Spring Training tickets can be purchased online at TwinsBaseball.com or by phone at 1-800-33-TWINS. With Hammond Stadium being located in Fort Meyers, going to a game recently became a lot easier for Duluth area residents.

Sun Country Airlines now offers nonstop service from Duluth International Airport (DLH) to Fort Myers, Florida. Flights to the Sunshine State are on Fridays and Mondays through Monday, April 25 so flying from Duluth right to a game is possible. Prices vary  based on the dates of travel, but I saw roundtrip for as low as $119 leaving Monday, March 28 and returning Monday, April 4.

All 19 of the Twins’ Grapefruit League games, home and road, are set to begin at 1:05 p.m. ET. Minnesota’s Hammond Stadium Home Opener is Saturday, March 19 against the Boston Red Sox – the first of three home games that remain identical on date, time and opponent from the original schedule (also Tuesday, March 22 vs. Atlanta and Sunday, March 27 vs. Boston). The annual “Minnesota Day” at Hammond Stadium is set for March 27.
