The Twin Ports interchange project continues to move forward and the Minnesota Department of Transportation has two public meetings scheduled to provide updates.

According to MnDOT, the meetings will be held on Monday, January 13, at Clyde Iron Works, which is located at 2920 W. Michigan Street, in Duluth.

The meetings will give the public an opportunity to provide input, ask questions and get the latest updates about the project scheduled to begin this spring.

A 3-D model of the project will also be on display at both meetings.

Two identical sessions will be held:

  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (presentation at 11:45 a.m.)
  • 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (presentation at 6:15 p.m.)

The 'can of worms' project will certainly be an inconvenience throughout, but it'll certainly be worth it when it's all said and done for travelers in the Northland.  These meetings will help provide everyone an understanding of what to expect.
