Monday means polls, if you follow the UMD Bulldog teams.

The Bulldog Football team fell to St. Cloud State on Saturday 51-49 to suffer their first loss of the year.  The (4-1) Bulldogs dropped from #2 in the D2 football to #10 in this week's poll.

It marked the 2nd loss in a row to St. Cloud State.  The Bulldogs will be back at home this Saturday night, trying to bounce back from that loss.  Kick-off at 6pm vs Minnesota State-Moorhead.  The game will serve as the 2012 Hall of Fame game, and they will induct several new members into their Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday and the group will be honored Saturday as well at the football game.

The 2012 Hall of Fame Inductees are:

A pair of multi-sport talents -- Dick Fisher (football, hockey and track) and Renee (Fluegge) Voltin (softball and volleyball) --  former men's basketball and men's golf coach George Fisher, 13-year National Hockey League veteran Jim Johnson and basketball All-American David Thompson will all be paid a lasting tribute this Friday (Oct. 5) when the University of Minnesota Duluth Athletic Hall of Fame holds its 15th enshrinement ceremony. The addition of this distinguished group will bring the UMD Athletic Hall of Fame membership to 109.

We will have more on the 2012 Hall of Fame Class later this week.

Here are the other polls, for UMD teams as of Monday, October 1st.
