UMD Hosting Summit On Equity, Diversity, And Ethnicity

This summit hosted at UMD by the UMD Kirby Student Center, the Commission for Women, Office of Diversity & Inclusion, and the Campus Climate Change Teams is titled "Justice and Equity for All?".

The summit will talk about who receives justice, who gets treated fairly and who doesn't.  There will be speakers, interactive sessions, films, discussions and more like workshops presented by community leaders, UMD faculty as well as staff and students.

There is a suggested donation for attending the summit which is $10 per person or $20 if you are requesting learning credits for attending.  It's taking place on Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 from 8AM-PM so it's an all day event.  Primarily it will be held in the Kirby Student Center on campus but will also be in part in others areas throughout UMD.  You can pre-register up until Midnight on Monday, February 25th, 2019.  After that you can register at the door on the day of the event.  The online registration link is here.
