As schools in the Northland welcome back students they're faced with the realities of a trying to make the year be as normal educationally as it can be during a pandemic. One of the concerns is the rate of contagion of COVID-19.  To help alleviate concerns and to provide transparency, one educational facility is making their COVID-19 testing data public via the internet.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior has introduced an online COVID-19 dashboard - providing a daily summary of the testing data occurring on the campus.  According to news sources, the information will be updated daily, with results of the previous days testing:

"The dashboard...will be updated every day with information received by 4:30 p.m. the previous day. The test result numbers include both antigen and nasal swab tests."

It's important to note that the COVID-19 dashboard only provides information on the test results from on-campus testing; in other words, any person who receives a test from a source not located on the UWS campus will not have their test results available on the online platform.  The test results of employees will also not be made available on the dashboard.  Officials caution the general public to balance the information available on the universities dashboard with the knowledge that it doesn't paint a complete picture of any potential COVID-cases on the campus - however - it does provide transparent data.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior plans to test its on-campus resident students every two weeks using an antigen test.  Those students whose antigen tests come back positive will then be scheduled for a swab-test.  According to news sources, UWS has more than 500 students living on campus for the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year.
