Gillette's toxic masculinity ad definitely got people talking. They released their commercial before the Super Bowl to gain some buzz and to shed some light on the metoo movement, telling men to shed their toxic masculinity. Many praised the ad, but it left some men threatened by it. Some felt that it grouped all men in as toxic abusers and was unfair.

Watch maker Egard responded with an ad that celebrates men, and highlights some lesser shared statistics about the male gender. Take a look and see what you think.

I appreciate a response to the Gillette ad. While I wasn't offended by the toxic masculinity message, I have seen it happen, and there are some men who definitely need to change their ways. On the same note, let's not vilify all men. The political atmosphere needs more sensible and mature balance.
