Every singer dreams of getting that big break that allows them to bring their talent and their love of music to everyone. For Superior High School Sophomore Belle Modeen, that break may have arrived on Tuesday. Even better, it was all one big surprise that was pulled off by our media partners at WDIO-TV.

According to their fun story, American Idol recently reached out to ABC stations across the country in an effort to award silver tickets to talented singers within their communities.

When a performer is awarded an American Idol Silver Ticket, they get to jump the audition line and audition directly for an American Idol show producer. Belle Modeen was awarded that honor and WDIO had the opportunity to deliver the exciting news.

WDIO's Kenny Johnson actually went undercover to Superior High School with the ticket. He pretended he was there simply to cover the school's Performing Arts Center’s renovations, but he was there to do much more than that.

Belle was delivered her American Idol Silver Ticket in front of performing arts students, parents and staff. The segment aired Tuesday on WDIO's new show 'The Lift'.

Belle is obviously a talented singer, but she also seems to be a great person and it will be exciting to follow her musical journey moving forward.

American Idol is set to premiere for a sixth season on ABC in Spring 2023. When the show officially returns, so to will judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Ryan Seacrest will also be returning to host the festivities.

I don't think anyone who knows Belle Modeen would be at all surprised to see her singing in front of them all.
