A ZZ Top documentary was released on August 13th, 2019.  Yeah, that was a while ago, but it just came out on Netflix so I sat down to watch it the other night.

I've been a ZZ Top fan since before I even knew who they really were.  I grew up with my dad singing lines from song's like 'Legs', and 'Got Me Under Pressure'.  Of course he had the Afterburner record too, and their music helped get me into rock and roll.

The documentary is called "ZZ Top: That Lil Ol' Band from Texas.  I enjoyed the film because as cool as it is to see car collections, the houses, and the way a band currently lives is, this film focused on their journey to where they are now.  It's honest, it's raw, and opened my eyes to how they broke through the barrier that Texas was back then to get their music out to the world.  I give it a 5 out of 5 stars and know it's one I'll be watching again.  If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend.  Of course you can hear plenty of their music on Sasquatch 92.1.
