Duluth's annual Nearly Naked Ruck March will no longer take place in person amid concerns of COVID-19. However, the event will still move forward.

Organizers have come up with a creative idea to make sure the march still happens: the event will now take place online.

Here is what they shared regarding the change and how it will work:

Our mission has not changed - on March 28th we will ruck virtually for our Veterans while still following U.S. CDC guidance. There are deployed allied soldiers registered and ready to receive our support - we will not let them down.

Ruckers -  dawn your patriotic swag, grab your pack, and head to your favorite hiking spot.

Cool! Once you head out to your favorite hiking spot - without a group of people, of course - pull up the event's Facebook page here. From there, beginning at 10:30 a.m. that day, organizer's will introduce us those overseas, talk a little bit about the program and announce the top fundraisers. Once this is all through, those attending the Facebook live event will kick off their personal treks together.

The in-person march WILL be rescheduled for a later date. We will keep you updated when we have the new date.

You can still register for the event and raise money for veterans in need on their website here.
