In less then two weeks I will be more engaged to the Super Bowl commercials then I will be in the actual game. It is not that I have any beef with the New England Patriots or the New York Giants, it is just I am sick of seeing the same team in the Super Bowl over and over again. In the last 10 years combined the Giants and the Patriots have been to eight Super Bowls, and the Baltimore Ravens have been there once, while the San Fransisco 49ers have not been there since a quarterback named Steve Young was at the helm.

I would have rather watched two brothers in Jim Harbaugh, and John Harbaugh duel it out to see who is the better coach, or see two sure-thing Hall of Farmer's in Ray Lewis, and Ed Reed go out on top; or see a quarterback heading towards being the next Ryan Leaf, but suddenly become the number one pick that he was suppose to be back in 2005. Yet instead we are seeing two teams that really know one outside of Massachusetts, and New York cares about.

Take the Patriots, Robert Kraft lost his wife earlier in this season, so that would be great for the Kraft family to

win the Super Bowl for Myra Kraft, but also Tom Brady is one win away from becoming the winning-est quarterback in play-off history (tied with Joe Montana for 16). Yet for the Giants their Defense has been mediocre for most of the season, but have caught on fire the last two months. It goes for saying all it matters is getting hot at the right time (take the Green Bay Packers last year).

Some people will be interested in the outcome of the game, but for most of the people watching we will be more interested in a possible wardrobe malfunction, or the halftime show; and the commercials. For my input in the outcome of the game it will be like this 24-17 Pats with Tom Brady leading the the team down the field for a go ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but if the Giants defense shows up like it has the past two months, then all bets are off.
