Brewers to Send Four to the All Star Game With Gomez and Ramirez in NL Starting Lineup
MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers are sending four players to the All-Star Game this year — the most since 2007.
Centerfielder Carlos Gomez and third baseman Aramis Ramirez have been elected to the National League's starting lineup in fan voting. Rosters were announced Sunday evening.
Catcher Jonathan Lucroy and closer Francisco Rodriguez also made the squad. The Brewers are the only NL team with more than one starting player.
The All-Star Game is set for Tuesday, July 15 in Minneapolis.
