Cam Is In As Deadline Nears

I can't remember the last time I was excited about off season football, after the Super Bowl the NFL and the Vikings have a lot to figure out and deal with.  Near the top of that list for the Vikings has to be finding a QB that can start next season, that is if there is a next season. Could the Vikings be interested in Cam Newton? If they are,he just made it official, here is the story from Access Vikings.

As expected, Auburn quarterback Cam Newton entered his name on Thursday. The junior won the Heisman Trophy and led his team to the national title in his first season at the school. He is expected to be a first-round pick.

ESPN reported Friday that Newton's teammate, junior defensive tackle Nick Fairley, will declare for the draft today. Fairley, who had a dominating performance in the title game, is expected to be one of the first few players selected in the draft.
