Charges Dropped Against Adrian Peterson in Resisting Arrest Case

The fallout of Adrian Peterson's run-in with the law in the summer of 2012 has apparently subsided.

ESPN 1500 is reporting that Peterson told Twin Cities media earlier this week prosecutors have dropped the resisting arrest charges that came from a July 2012 altercation at a nightclub in Houston.

The original accusation came as Peterson was being asked to leave the club he was at, and allegations of pushing an off-duty police officer led to the resisting arrest charges that loomed through the summer.
