Due to the global pandemic, the annual Christmas City Express with the North Shore Scenic Railroad is going to be virtual  for 2020.  It won't be quite the same as nothing beats riding on the train for it, but it's something the whole family can be a part of and it's also totally free!

It takes place on Saturday, December 19th, from the comfort of wherever you have internet access.  It will start at 7:00PM and runs for about an hour.  Even with the event being virtual, there will be an option for live interaction with the cast of the show, so it should be pretty entertaining.  They have promised to include an online visit from a special guest for this virtual event as well.

When you do register, which you can do online for free HERE, they also give you the option to purchase items like a stuffed bear, the book that goes with the experience, or a Railroad Museum Guidebook.

In a time when it's hard to do things in groups, I'm thinking a fun way to enjoy this event with the family would be if you have a projector.  Watch it on the big screen that way on a living room wall maybe with some hot cocoa or that Tom and Jerry cocktail.  As of the time of writing this, there were still 202 seats available, so grab your free one fast.
