Even as the City of Superior's Water Quality Programs are currently postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic response, officials are looking for volunteers to help provide manpower once they return.  The city runs two specific programs that encourage people to keep their local waterways clean.

The Adopt-A-Stormdrain is a program for residents to adopt stormdrains around their home or business.  Volunteers inspect and clean areas around their stormdrains and report their findings.

Citizen Stream Monitoring volunteers "check the pulse" of Faxon Creek throughout the warm months of the year.  Volunteers provide stream data for the Wisconsin Water Action Volunteers group that collects water quality data from volunteers all over Wisconsin.
