The Douglas County Trader's Village had a soft opening on April 10th and it went great.  The official grand kick-off for the season of all things flea market is the weekend of May 8th-9th.

I didn't make it to the initial event but from the video and pictures it's amazing how many vendors were there, and the list for the kick-off is even bigger.  To make short of it, just about anything you can think that should be at a flea market will be there.

I'm talking about vintage treasures that every home or office can use as decoration or for collecting.  There will be kitchen gadgets, cannabidiol, fresh produce, baked goods, various nuts, quilts, driftwood, custom glass items, stuff for sewing, and much more.  It's the perfect weekend too, with Mother's Day being on Sunday.  Let's face it, many of us wait until the last minute to get something for Mom.  With this event, you can do that and gift her something that is truly unique and hand-crafted.

There is no charge to show up and browse everything and even the parking is free, with the event taking place at the Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds in Superior.  Also know that by shopping at this flea market, you will be helping to support people that live in or around our community, so it's a win for everyone.  The Douglas County Trader's Market is from 9:00AM-3:00PM both days and you can get all the up to date information on vendors and COVID-19 safety protocols to be followed HERE.
