Here we go again, week three for the Minnesota Vikings. If the Vikings lose to the Browns this week and fall to 0-3, this season will be officially over, and not to mention the Browns are starting their third string quarterback, and just traded away their star player in Trent Richardson. Here is my top five things to watch for this Sunday's game.

Can Christian Ponder Build on Momentum?

So here is the season break down for Ponder. First six quarters of this season awful, the last two quarters were decent. So can Ponder build on that? He will be playing against a team that has already quit on the season. Ponder has a chance to gain confidence and help this offense get its wheels going on the season. What to watch for is can Ponder build on last weeks second half, if not then Ponders career with the Vikings may be up in jeopardy.

    Adrian Peterson Trying Too Hard?

Coach Frazier said this week that Adrian Peterson is trying to hard. Could that be true? Is Peterson's kryptonite himself? Peterson is the best running back in the league right now, and yet hasn't cracked the 100-yard mark in this young season, but last season it took AP week four to crack the 100-yard mark. One thing to keep in mind is that AP did put ungodly goals on himself for the season like 2,500 yards. So it could be that Peterson is trying extremely hard to achieve that mark. What to watch for this Sunday is can Peterson reclaim his status as the Vikings offense engine?

    Cordarrelle Paterson Playing More?

We all saw Patterson's explosiveness last Sunday, and yet only saw limited time on the field. Frazier said that Patterson will see more playing time, but how much more playing time we he get? Patterson is a game changer and can stretch the field like a fellow ex-receiver that wore #84 for the Vikings. This will be a two-part "what to watch for". How much more time will Patterson see this Sunday? And can Ponder get him the ball down field?

    Defense Facing Unkown Foe

The past two weeks the Vikings faced two familiar foes in Mathew Stafford and Jay Cutler, but this week they face a offense that has no identity. Brandon Weeden is hurt, and the Browns are going with undrafted third string quarterback in Brian Hoyer. Also the Browns signed Willis McGahee off his couch this week. Can the Vikings defense improve its lack luster performance from the past two weeks, and stop a JV type offense? What to watch for this week is for the Vikings linebackers to improve, and watch for the defense to stop the Browns in their tracks.

How Will The Fans Treat The Vikings?

The last home opener at the Metrodome will happen this Sunday. From reading comments online, its obvious that fans have been unimpressed with how this offense has been playing. So will the boo-birds be heard if the offense starts off sluggish? Will the fans alter Frazier's patience with Ponder? What to watch for this Sunday is if, and I say if the offense starts of sluggish, will the fans be booing the offense?, And will that speed up the coaches decision on making a quarterback switch?
