The Minnesota Vikings have added former Bears cornerback Zack Bowman through free agency to address need at that position. The good news: the Vikings are attempting to address a need; the bad news: yet another move that offers no serious excitement for fans.

Bowman was drafted in the 5th round of the 2008 draft by the Chicago Bears, where he served a short term as a starting cornerback. Most of his career has been spent as a backup or on the special teams unit. Through the first four years of his career, Bowman has notched 115 tackles and 7 interceptions on defense.
