Guitars from Johnny Winter, David Bowie and McCartney at Auction

If you want to own a piece of rock history that you can actually play, some very special guitars are being auctioned on December 2, in New York.

The sale is called " Legendary Guitars and Musical Treasures" and will feature a 1953 Gibson Les Paul that belongs to Sir Paul McCartney.  A 1989 Gibson L4 Custom that was played by David Bowie.  Also up for grabs is Johnny Winter’s 12-string Gibson Firebird.
