Halvor Lines Speedway in Proctor Offering Special Free Admission Day
Halvor Lines Speedway is open for the season now through summer Sunday nights in Proctor are roaring with great racing.
On Monday, Halvor Lines Speedway announced that a special day was coming where there would be free grandstand admission, made made possible by a Northland business.
According to the Halvor Lines Speedway Facebook page:
The Halvor Lines Speedway is excited to announce FREE Grandstand admission for Halvor Lines, Inc. “Military Night” on Sunday July, 10th, thanks to Heather Wright and NorthStar Community Services. We will have all six of our regular race divisions in action (WISSOTA Late Models, Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and Hornets), along with Kids Bike Races during intermission.
They also noted that they had 20 Late Models in attendance on Sunday, June 20 and they expect close to the same for their next event on July 10th. There are no races schedule over 4th of July weekend.
Every Sunday when races are scheduled this is the schedule of events:
- Pit Gate Opens at 3:00pm
- Draw Cut Off 4:00pm
- Front Grandstand Gate Opens at 4:00pm
- Drivers Meeting 4:15pm
- Hot Laps 4:30pm
- Racing Begins 5:00pm
If haven't been there before, it's recommended that you bring warm clothing because weather in the Northland is unpredictable. You should also bring sunscreen if you're arriving early. In the event it gets dry and a bit dusty clear glasses and a mask help make it a more enjoyable experience.
