Every year Hartley Nature Center holds an annual event focusing on the season some love and some don't much care for up North, winter.   The Candlelight Ski, Skate, and Snowshoe event gives cold weather and nature lovers a chance to enjoy the elements by candlelight.

Individuals can ski the lit up Hartley Park cross country ski trail, check out biking on a fat tire bike, go on a guided snowshoe hike, go ice skating on Hartley Pond, have a light meal, and even sample some brews.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged for this event with it's popularity and limited space and you can do that by stopping by the Nature Center to sign up, or by giving them a ring at 218-724-6735.  It's pretty inexpensive too, only $5 for Hartley members, $10 for Hartley member households, or $15 and $30 for non-members and non-member households.

It's on Saturday, January 19th from 4PM-7PM at Hartley Nature Center in Duluth, Minnesota.  You can find out more about this and other events here.
