Have A Food Product Business Idea? Check Out This Free Event
I like to cook and have to say that I can make some pretty good grilled chicken wings. I also have messed around with making some different sauces and seasonings over the years. Those have at times had me thinking that maybe I could market them. Often you'll see items at gas stations and various locations like "Rick's BBQ Sauce", or random hot sauces you have never heard of. That could be one of your sauces or products sitting there.
If you have a food product of your own that you think might be marketable, UW-Superior is hosting a free class to get you pointed in the right direction.
On Monday, January 11th, Chef Arlene Coco will be sharing some insight on how to get your product out there to people. The two hour workshop is from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Some of the topics to be covered will be envisioning what type of business will work for you, establishing a niche, business plan writing, learning responsibilities and regulatory requirements, record keeping, and more.
You can also take a virtual tour of the Superior Business Center and if desired even take a personal tour. There is no charge to attend the event and learn more about bringing your product or product idea to life, you do have to register for the session though. You can register and get more information HERE.
