Happy Cinco de Mayo Señor! If you're thinking about celebrating the holiday today, we've put a list together of supplies you'll need and where to get them in the Twin Ports.

Tequila

Any respectable Cinco de Mayo party requires one main ingredient, Tequila!  Now there are many different brands of the Mexican water, but I can only suggest one, the only one I drink, Cabo Wabo.  Just saying that makes my mouth water and my head happy.

Not every store carries the delicious drink,  and the "where to buy" section on the Cabo website was not working when I went, but I know that Belknap Liquor in Superior has it, because I've bought it there before, and unless I go in today and buy out  the stock they'll have it.

Tacos

loading...

What is a Mexican themed party without some Tacos, and when I need a Taco fix, there is only one place I consider, Taco Johns, with a few locations around town you won't have a problem getting your crunchy taco fix in a hurry. Six pack and pound anyone?  Taco Johns will hook it up for Cinco de Mayo,  I'm not sure how truly Mexican 'Potato Oles' are, but they are close enough for me to enjoy.

Decorations

loading...

Ok hombre now you need some decorations for your Cinco de Mayo bash and what's more Mexican than a Pinata? You can pick one up for a few bucks at Party America, fill it up with some candy and give it some swings with your softball bat. But listen here Muchacho make sure you have plenty of room before you start swinging, especially if you already enjoyed some Cabo Wabo.

Music

Let's complete the Cinco de Mayo party package with some music. You may already have all the Mexican music that you need at your finger tips. Charter Communications has at least 4 Mexican music channels on their cable network that you can access starting at channel 944.

While I've been writing this I have been enjoying 1410 La Maquina Musical from Grand Rapids, Michigan on the new radioPup mobile radio app, which also includes our Sister stations, Mix 108, Kool 101.7 and B105.
