Updated Look At The 2024 Grandma’s Marathon Weekend Weather Forecast
For the last few years, the various races of Grandma's Marathon Weekend have seen fast sellouts, with this world-class event growing in popularity each year. With thousands of runners and spectators preparing for this weekend, weather is on the minds of everyone.
As any Northlander or Grandma's veteran knows, it isn't just the races. Live music at Bayfront Festival Park returns once again with Rock the Bayfront 2024 (see the lineup here) capping off the weekend's events.
The threat of rain is looming for this year, but the chances have been diminishing as the events have drawn closer. While rain and thunderstorms are still possible, there have been some chances to the forecast.
While there is a chance of rain, it doesn't look like it will be an all-day rain. It will more likely be intermittent showers and storms.
Event organizers have been letting everyone know they're watching the weather situation, announcing they will make an official call on the race if there are thunderstorms early Saturday morning.
Here's an event-by-event look at what to expect from the weather for Grandma's Marathon Weekend:
