Packers wide receiver James Jones has agreed to terms on a new deal with the team. Jones' new contract is worth $9.4 million and includes $3.75 million in first-year pay.

Jones, a 2007 third round draft pick, has amassed just over 2,000 yards and 13 touchdowns in his four seasons with the Pack. Jones was the target of a few teams looking for a wideout, including rival Minnesota Vikings. Holding on to Jones is another of several moves being made by the Packers front office to walk the fine line of salary cap retaining Super Bowl winning players.
