It's important with biking and certain other outdoor activities to stay protected, and especially important for kids.  Maybe your child hasn't started riding yet and will start this spring, which isn't that far away.  Or maybe the ones that you kids have are worn out or they have outgrown them.

There is an opportunity for kids to free all sport helmet on Wednesday, February 3rd at Bike Cave.  From 1:00-5:00PM they can show up and get fitted for a helmet from the Bike Cave team.  Included as well will be educational and safety materials, and a Safe Kids winter biking sticker.  There are only 50 helmets available though, so if your child needs one, make sure you get there as early as possible.

They will be of course observing COVID-19 safety precautions, so make sure you wear a mask and practice that social distancing.  This great giveaway and educational event is all part of Winter Bike Week presented by Zeitgeist.  It's a great week dedicated to better health through a more active lifestyle, even in the winter months.

Bike Cave is located at 1712 Jefferson Street in Duluth, MN and it's a volunteer run bike shop doing what they can to help out the biking community of all ages in the Twin Ports.  You can get more information about this and other Bike Cave events, and find out more about them HERE.
