Let’s GO! Duluth’s CJ Ham Was Mic’d Up For Vikings Packers Game
Duluth native C.J. Ham was featured as a "mic'd up" player in the week 11 game versus the rival Green Bay Packers. Ham is a Duluth Denfeld Graduate who proved his worth as a Viking's walk on player who got a spot on the practice squad. Over the years he worked his way up, impressed coaches, and made the active roster in 2016.
Ham transitioned to the fullback position and now has become an integral part of the team. C.J. has also been such an infuence on the team that he was named a team captain for the 2021 season along with Dalvin Cook, Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen, Anthony Barr, Brian O'Neill, Patrick Peterson, and Harrison Smith.
The Vikings faced rival Green Bay Packers for week 11 this last Sunday. It was a thrilling game that went down to the wire. The Vikings came out victorious after Greg Joseph's game winning field goal with just one second left on the clock.
C.J. was mic'd up for the matchup and had plenty of fun audio to digest. Through the game you can see many times where Ham motivated his team, saying "Make every opportunity count, whatever it is. " He shows what a team player he is by supporting his teammates. I especially appreciated his comment to Dalvin Cook after Cook's touchdown, "Good job following me!"
C.J. has done a lot for the community as well. He's been to his hometown field at Duluth Denfeld and held training camps for youth. Thanks for making us proud, C.J. SKOL VIKINGS!
