This is great news! Another local business has announced they will be reopening soon.

Marcus Lakes 10 Cinema announced the big news on their Facebook page recently, writing that they will be opening their doors once again on May 7th. That is a Friday which is perfect timing!

The theater didn't go into specifics about what their COVID-19 policies will be but it is likely going to be similar to those of Marcus Duluth Cinema in Canal Park. When that theater reopened in February, they issued several new policies to make movie-watchers feel safe. These policies include pre-ordering of tickets and concessions, plexiglass in transactional areas and hand sanitizer throughout the building.

Marcus Lakes 10 Cinema also said they will be announcing movies and times, along with other details of their reopening, as the reopening date gets closer. Marcus Lakes 10 Cinema is located at 4351 Stebner Road in Hermantown.

Like so many other businesses over the past year, Marcus Lakes 10 Cinema had to shut down temporarily due to COVID-19. They definitely got creative throughout that time period, offering curbside popcorn pickup for those that wanted the snack to enjoy at home.

I can't wait to go to the movies once again! Movies are just better when you are watching them on the big screen while eating popcorn and other snacks. Plus, it is really nice to see businesses reopening after being hit so hard by the pandemic over the past year.
