This is the perfect excuse to road trip! A unique new restaurant now calls the Mall Of America home.

Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls has opened its first midwest location at the mega mall and judging by the looks of it, it is going to be delicious.

The new lobster roll restaurant is located on the third level of the mall at the north end. It is officially open for business every day of the week!

According to their website, they have six different lobster rolls you can choose from. The rolls to choose from include a classic and a BLT lobster roll. Yum!

They don't just serve lobster rolls though. They also have delicious entrees like lobster macaroni and cheese, salad, lobster bisque, potato salad, cole slaw and clam chowder.

The store is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday the store will open earlier, opening at 10 a.m. and closing at 9 p.m. Sunday will have shorter hours, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls opened its first location back in 2014. The creator was inspired by Maine and lobstermen he met there working in the industry. He was so inspired by them that this franchise was born!

Like we said, this is the first midwest location for Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls. There are other locations across the country, including Florida, Virginia and Delaware.

If you need another reason to make a little road trip, comedian Michael Rapaport will be doing a handful of shows at the Mall Of America. He will be doing standup at Rick Bronson's House Of Comedy in late August. You can get tickets as we speak.

A new M&Ms store also opened at the Mall Of America recently. It features M&Ms merchandise, a wall of chocolate and of course, candy.

If you can't make it to the Mall Of America just yet, you can see it virtually with this amazing drone video. It came out in April and pretty much broke the internet!
