Parking Permits Required Near Duluth High Schools and UMD; Apply For Permits Here

With schools back in session, remember that parking permits are required for vehicles parked on the street near Denfeld Senior High School, East Senior High School and UMD. 

According to the city of Duluth, permits must be displayed on vehicles parked on public streets during the enforcement period of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., September 1 - June 15th.  Also, permits only are valid in the resident's own zone -- and only within 500 feet of the resident's address.

While getting a permit does require an application process, it does prevent residents near schools losing parking spots to students throughout the day.
