Fall fun isn't cancelled in the Northland! Despite the pandemic, the popular Ru-Ridge Corn Maze is still set on opening come September.

The popular attraction announced the news on their Facebook page recently, writing the following:

Hello everyone! We are gearing up for our opening September 11th, 2020! This year we will be supporting/donating to our local volunteer fire, police and ambulance EMS services. With everything that's been happening with this crazy year we wanted to show our support for all they do. Lots of extra Covid precautions will be taken so please have patience with us and the process. Pictures of our maze soon to come, your going to love it! See you soon and stay safe!

This is great news, especially in a time when so many major events and attractions have been cancelled. September 11th falls on a Friday this year, which makes heading to the corn maze a great way to kick off the weekend!

Ru-Ridge Corn Maze organizers did not give more details regarding just what their COVID-19 precautions will be come opening day. We will continue to keep you updated when they release these guidelines.

The Ru-Ridge Corn Maze is a popular attraction in the area, with hay rides, pumpkin painting, a corn pit and family activities. It is located at 1781 County Road 1 in Carlton.

Do you want more good news? The Haunted Ridge is also a go for the 2020 Halloween season! The haunt shared the news mid-August that they would indeed be open, despite the pandemic. Of course, there will be safety policies in place, like temperature checks prior to entering the scare, a mask requirement and social distancing.
