Ruffles Recalls ‘All Dressed’ Potato Chips
Frito-Lay has issued a voluntary recall on one of its more-popular brands of potato chips. According to details released by the United States Food and Drug Administration, Ruffles All Dressed potato chips are being voluntarily recalled due to undeclared allergen concerns. Milk is the specific ingredient involved.
The problem stems from the discovery that certain bags of Ruffles All Dressed potato chips were accidentally filled with another flavor of potato chips; that inadvertent switch could lead certain people who have milk sensitivities or allergies exposed to the undeclared milk ingredient.
No medical issues or allergic reactions have been reported at this time in connection with the potato chips. However the Frito-Lay company is taking the precautionary measures to maintain that there are no serious effects. It's also worth noting that the recall doesn't involve any other variety of Ruffles brand chips or any other Frito-Lay product. It's also worth making note of the fact that the affected Ruffles All Dressed potato chips were shipped to Sam's Club warehouses.
