The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is inviting you to kick off the new year with them in a healthy way as you snowshoe in Jay Cooke State Park.

On Wednesday, January 1st, 2020, kids and adults are welcome to come snowshoe the park.  There are even a limited number of snowshoes available to borrow for the afternoon.  A DNR naturalist will lead you around the park on this snowshoe adventure so it's even guided for you.

It will take place from 1:00PM-2:30PM and you do need to register in advance.  The meeting point will be at the River Inn Interpretive Center just 3 miles East of Carlton on Sate HWY 210.  You can reserve your snowshoes, register, and get more information by calling the park at 218-763-7000.
