As we get to the final days before Grandma's Marathon, we took some time this morning to talk to Bob Gustafson, public relations director about upcoming events starting with the Health Expo this Thursday.
Trish Staine, 33, of Duluth got the biggest surprise early this week. Having not gained any weight and her cycle never changed, she knew she was uncomfortable and having back pain. Having a baby, nope! She continued to training, after all, she's not pregnant, in fact, that was the last thing she thought.
Registration for the June 22 running of Grandma's Marathon will remain open for an extra week. This extension now gives runners through Friday, June 7 to join the field for the event’s 37th running.
