After years of being hungry for a franchise quarterback, Minnesota Vikings fans got a glimpse of a player that looks to fill that void. Teddy Bridgewater was handed his first start in an NFL game after Matt Cassel went down to injury, and the rookie didn't disappoint. Teddy managed a Vikings offense to a 41-28 win after being held to field goals the past two weeks.

While he didn't throw a passing touchdown, Bridgewater found the endzone for the first time as an NFL player on his feet with a 13-yard dash to paydirt. Teddy was 19 of 30 for 317 yards, and rushed for a total of 27 yards and the aforementioned touchdown. Teddy's day ended early, leaving in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, but the crowd showed their love as he came off the field at the end of the game in a powerful way.
