If you have not heard what happened last night in St Louis then listen up. The St Louis Cardinals came back not once, but twice in back to back innings down by two runs. Last night had all the highs, and lows a World Series game should have. Yet some people might not even remember one of the best things about the game last night. It was was what Joe Buck said after David Freese's walk-off home run int the 11-inning. Buck uttered the ever famous line that his dad(Jack Buck) said 20 years earlier, who could forget this line "And we will see your tomorrow night"(Jack Buck said this line after Kirby Puckett forced game 7 in the 1991 World Series).

If these two epic moments that are 20 years apart have some how paralleled each other, then we will see Chirs Carpenter throw 10 shut-out innings(Jack Morris 1991), and then Nick Punto will become Gene Larkin and hit a bloop single into left, and Joe Buck can once again saw another famous line that his dad said, but the will have to replace Twins with Cardinals "the Cardinals(Twins) are going to win the World Series! The Cardinals (Twins) have won it! It's a base hit! It's a 1-0 10th inning victory!"

Enough about these things, lets get into game 6. What a game through-and-through. It had the tension, drama,

and the moment that every kid dreams about doing, which is putting on your favorite teams jersey, and hitting a walk-off home run to win a World Series game. Which is exaculy what David Freese did last night. Freese had the fortunate opportunity to do it twice last night, Freese hit a game tieing triple when the Texas Rangers were one strike away from winning their first ever championship, and have their best pitcher on the mound in Naftali Feliz in the ninth inning, but the blame cannot be placed fully on Feliz, because Nelson Cruz could of easily caught Freese's triple, but barley ran after it.

Now that the Cardinals have tied it up at 7-7, we head to extra innings, when Josh Hamilton literally took out the Cardinals hearts and ripped it apart, by smacking a towering two run home run. Yet could the un-thinkable happen twice in back to back innings? Daniel Descalso singles to right field for the Cardinals, and then Jon Jay singles, putting runners at first, and second, and the pitchers spot due up. There seemed to be some confusion on who should take the batter box for the Cardinals, but finally Kyle Loshe batted for the Cards, and got down a great bunt to move the runners up to third, and second with one out. With the "the Machine" Albert Pujols in the on deck circle, Ryan Theriot grounded out to third, and this is wear the "should-da-would-da-could-da" comes into play. Should Adrian Beltre come to the plate, and get Descalso out at home? or do the safe play and make sure the winning run does not reach first base safely? Beltre does the smart play, and gets the easy out at first. Now Pujols is up, this is wear it gets dicey. Do you pitch to Puljols who is 1-17 in the World Series besides game three? or do you piych to a less feared hitter in Lance Berkman who just happens to be leading both teams in hitting during the World Series? I would of made Pujols beat me personally, but instead they pitch around Pujols, and pitch to Berkman, and just so happens the Rangers were once again one strike away from the Champsioship when Berkman kills them too.

You now know the rest. Yet now we head to the ever nerve racking thing called "game-7'. These types of games bring out the true champions, and push asided the teams that just do not have what it takes to call themselves champions. I still think the Rangers could win it, because their lineup could put a 10 spot on the scoreboard in the first inning, but to do that they will have to face the ace of the Cards in Carpenter. My predictions, Rangers 5, and the Cardinals 3.
