The New 2012 Dodge Charger

This time of the year is great for car lovers as the auto manufactures start to release details about their next years models. One that caught my eye was the 2012 Dodge Charger, this car looks hot, and the specs aren't bad either.

Dodge rolled out a slew of new rides Wednesday at the Chicago Auto Show including the quite Evo-esque 2012 Charger SRT8. However, unlike Mitsubishi’s Mick Jagger-mouthed counterpart, the SRT8 has a very respectable 465 hp 6.4 liter Hemi with matching torque numbers. Lets see that from any four-banger. The four-door also gets an all-new paddle-shifted trans and an adaptive damping suspension with two driver-selected modes.

The car also reportedly has an active intake manifold backed by an active exhaust. The new motor is up about 20 ci and 80 pounds of torque over the previous 6.1L. It also promises a broader power curve and better gas mileage.
