The Timberwolves made the obvious choice last night in the NBA Draft, which for the Wolves is amazing in it self, they took Arizona Forward Derrick Williams second overall.  Derrick is a 6-8 and 241, in his sophomore year he averaged 19.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Derrick is also the Pac-10 Player of the Year and a consensus second team All-American. He is a great size for a forward and should create some match up problems with his 7-1 wingspan.

With Derrick Williams joining the squad next season, what will happen with Michael Beasley, who is starting to look good and fit with the team?   It was a good day for Timberwolves fans as the team builds for a winning future, hopefully.

But will we see a coaching change? Stay tuned...
