The COVID-19 global pandemic had an impact on just about everything for the last year.  A major struggle for parents during the last year, was not having somewhere to send their kids during the summer.  Most of the programs our family looked into did not happen in 2020.

While it's slowly, it is a good sign that Twin Ports area options for summer programs are announcing sign-up dates again.  Even with some restrictions, it will give parents the ability to keep their kids busy and in most cases not have to pay the rates that a daycare charges.

University of Minnesota Duluth is going to have their KIDSROCK Summer Camp available for 2021.  It's put on by their Recreational Sports Outdoor Program and gives kids plenty of activities to keep them active and occupied in the summer.  UMD is running a promotion to help save you 10% on registration.  It needs to be done during their early registration period, from March, 8th at 9:00AM-March, 9th at 4:00PM.  Based on how limited options were last year, it's probably a good idea to jump on the sign-up as soon as possible.

The nine weeks of summer camp include activities like indoor and outdoor rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, paddle boarding, and much more.  There are even weeks that feature various themes, to make it more fun for the kids.  You can get more information on all that this great summer program has to offer, and the details for online registration HERE.  You can also call 218-726-7128 for information.
