Veterans Memorial Hall Cancels VMH 5K Fun Run/Walk

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Veterans Memorial Hall has cancelled the VMH 5K Fun Run/Walk scheduled for Saturday, May 16.

Organizers are hoping health conditions improve throughout the community in the upcoming months. If that is the case, they may reschedule the VMH 5K Fun Run/Walk for autumn of 2020. That would only be done if the event could be done safely for everyone.

Registration fees are nonrefundable but will be valid and applied should the race be rescheduled.

With people across the Northland needing to stay home unless absolutely necessary, it is still important to get outside for a run or a walk while practicing social distancing. With that in mind, virtual run/walks should be strongly considered. They allow you to complete the distance of your choice, at your pace and convenience, while still be rewarded a shirt and a medal.
