One of the Vikings most dynamic players is set to become a free agent this off season, but the Vikings are trying to make sure that Sidney Rice sticks around, according to coach Frazier the Vikes have offered Rice a new deal.

Leslie Frazier made two things clear on Friday morning. The Vikings want to re-sign wide receiver Sidney Rice and they don't have major concerns about his surgically repaired hip. Frazier, in fact, revealed that a contract offer already has been made.

"Our medical staff has assured us that he’s going to be fine and he’s going to be able to play and be productive for years to come and that’s how we’ve approached it," Frazier said. "That’s one of the reasons that we extended him a contract and conversation about getting him a contract. So, we feel good about Sidney."
