Vitta Pizza To Open Second Location In Duluth
The popular pizzeria, Vitta Pizza that serves up Italy inspired Neapolitan wood-fired pizza in Canal Park will be opening a second location in Duluth.
Owners Brad and Christie were born and raised in Duluth and I am pumped they are opening a second location according to Fox 21. The pizzeria is a staple in Canal and has been for the past 10 years. My personal favorite is a toss up between the Yo (soppressata salami, pepperoncini and basil) and the Donatella (artichoke, mushroom, garlic and Basil). The pizzeria also offers kids pizzas, salads, desserts, and sides like breadsticks and a antipasto platter.
The new location is set to open next year with the hope being in the spring. You'll be able to find it off Central Entrance in the old UPS building. The coolest part, is the new digs will have a drive through window! The drive-through will work for customers that ordered online and will be able to pick up their orders with ease. The owners are hoping to hire at least a dozen new employees with this location and are waiting the arrival of their new wood-fired oven from Italy that was ordered three months ago.
With a new location coming, it has me think of what places we currently don't have that would be good in Duluth. Check a few out down below.
