Drive Thru BBQ Supports Local School
In our current world there is only so much local entities can do to help raise money. Most fundraising events have gone to some kind of an online format since having in-person ones can be hard to manage with social distancing. A close to the Twin Ports area school is teaming up with a local restaurant to give you a drive thru fundraising experience to help them out.
The Barnum School Parent Teacher Organization is going to be serving up some deliciousness, all for a good cause. They have teamed up with the Rustic Diner, and will be serving up pork chops on Friday, September 4th. For only $12.00, you'll get two pork chops, applesauce, baked beans, cole slaw, and a roll with butter. From that purchase price, $3.00 of it will be donated to the school. It's a pretty inexpensive way to enjoy some BBQ and help out a local school.
The drive thru event will be from 5:00PM-6:30PM, and to save time, you can pre-order your meals. The Rustic Diner is located at 3729 Front Street in Barnum and the link to order is located HERE. The drive thru instructions are: Enter the alley from the west, and then exit east on HWY 61. You can get more information on the Rustic Diner and what else they have to offer on their Facebook page HERE.
