As far as action films are concerned, and especially iconic ones, it's hard to deny that the 1991 film Terminator 2: Judgment Day isn't one of the best.

You could argue that the first Terminator which was released in 1984, and also starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, and was also directed by James Cameron was in itself more iconic.

While the first is certainly good for an action film, it didn't have as much of a finished product feel that the sequel has.  The acting in Judgment Day is better, the script is better, and the soundtrack is too.

Even compared to the Terminator films that followed Judgment Day, some are okay, but don't hold a candle to that action masterpiece.

If you haven't had a chance to see Terminator 2: Judgment Day on the big screen, the way in my opinion it was intended, an opportunity is knocking.

Zeitgeist Zinema in Downtown Duluth on the regular will present films of the past on the big screen to be enjoyed once again.  On Wednesday, January 17th at 7:00PM, the iconic action film of the early 90s will be shown and will only cost you $12 to attend.

While they don't do it on every classic film showing, oftentimes the Zeitgeist will do some trivia for prizes prior to the show, some come prepared just in case.

This special showing of Terminator 2: Judgment Day is part of a special Sci-Fi Film series which will also include E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind showing within a few days of each other.
