It's that time of year again where people are either in a hurry to get their taxes back because they know they are getting a refund, or maybe are waiting until the last minute because they know some money is owed.  Regardless, we have to get them done, and since high school doesn't prepare you for real adult things, like taxes, there are some opportunities for free help.

You can of course use online tax services, or actually go to a tax professional, but if you want to save some coin and do it yourself, help is available.  On Saturday, February, 15th, the Duluth Public Library will have students from UMD's accounting department on hand to assist with tax preparation.

The event is held at the main branch in their Gold Room from 10:00AM-3:30PM.  More information about the event and what you need to bring can be found here.
