Library Giving Day Celebration To Be Held At Duluth Depot
Libraries are venues that I thought as technology evolved, we would see less of. That hasn't really been the case at least not in the Twin Ports area as libraries have also evolved with the times and tech.
Sure, you can still go to the library to check out a book, but they have become so much more than just a place for that. Between community events and activities and other multimedia options, libraries have continued to be places for peaceful and healthy education bringing people of all ages and all walks of life together.
To help recognize and celebrate the importance of public libraries and also raise money for them, you can join in on the Library Giving Day Celebration on Thursday, April 11th at The Depot in Duluth from 5:00-8:00PM.
Plenty will be going on for the three-hour event including free books, book bingo, prize drawings, live music, and of course story time.
It's a family friendly event that will also feature food trucks, and a cash bar from local favorites Hoops Brewing. This big ole celebration is one you don't want to miss and there will be so much more going on besides what is listed above.
Come on out and celebrate the importance of libraries in our community and help support their efforts for many years to come.
